I thought this was very good with a very well thought out orchestration and trumpet part. The time signature made for some original rhythms and accompaniments. It is unusual in that it remains in the same sort of tonality throughout (e minor ? even though not given a key signature) and I wondered if this was intentional and for what reason. Also it's obviously a very short movement.

For those reasons and more maybe you could provide some "programme notes" on what you set out to achieve and how this movement relates to the other two. Also please tell us what sounds you used - which were good (even though the percussion was barely audible).

I don't really have program notes. This piece was written because I liked the sound and rhythm. How it relates to the other movement (which is now Mvt 3) is their motives are based on the same series of notes. They are also similar in the style of time signatures.

The sounds I'm using are Garritan Orchestra - although I didn't really spend the time to make the most of the sounds - pretty much just took the midi through Sonar 7 with Garritan as a VST instrument and recorded each line - then combined them for the final product. I could get the percussion to sound a bit louder with massaging of the levels... but for a quick play-through it was good enough.
