Mmm...Hamster. Is that a sort of posh ham?

On a side note, this piece is...interesting. It sorta reminds me of slightly-later-than-Miles-Davis experimental Jazz. For me that's a bad thing. But I guess someone must like it.

Mmm....Yggdrasil, Is that a pretentious reference to something so important it held up the structure of heaven and earth ?

On a side note, that level of ego is interesting. It sorta reminds me of people who dismiss whole genres of music out of hand. For me they are a bad thing. But I guess their mothers love them.

Something that held up the structure of the Earth, or the villain from Tales of Symphonia, your choice. Personally I prefer the second, but if you want to think of me as that important, I am most grateful.

On a side note, I actually enjoy jazz of most kinds. Almost all kinds. I probably have the most extensive collection of jazz music here. But not experimental. And that piece is VERY experimental. Not even jazz really, listening to it again. More atonal. It reminds me now of Steve Reich arranged for jazz trio.

Okay, here's my take as a jazz man myself: There's some really cool stuff, but, dare I say, it lacks enough harmonic structure. The only part that felt a little more coherant to me was when you brought in the kick drum in the drumset and whatever else there was at 1:03 and on. Then I actually started to enjoy it a lot more. My advice would be to make it a little less hectic in the beginning and build to that section because if you listen to jazz songs in a similar style, you'll find they usually build... usually. At 2:02, again, it got a little better.

Your sustained chords you land on are great, but in between it's just too busy....

Really, I like what you did, it just needs to be a little more coherant.

Great job!
