Well, have fun!!!!

I will compose. :)

This one I will not judge or compete because the concept isn't a very fruitful one. Also, requiring live recordings will drastically diminish entries.

machines most interpretate music for machines

humans most interpretate music for humans

humans most interpretate music for humans

except of course, us humans that don't sing... ;)

...and those without constant acess to an orchestra.

One word. AUTOTUNES

Sign me up. I have an idea for a weird piece and I can sing it.

Guys.. some competitions are more suited for other people... notice how I haven't entered a competition in a long time. lol.

Not everything is going to be across the board, even. And, question... What about electronically modified voicing? Harmony (not even choir... just like maybe having a quarter tone apart)? Or just single line voice?

see this men: i dont care your vocal perfection; i hate classical sing

sing like you want, untuned, bibrato, classic, dont care

the song DONT have to be classical, it can be anything, it can be rap if you want

my ponit is the creativity, the expression and the originality

The only question I have is, can the solo voice be accompanied by instruments?

Jose... CAN it be electronically "altered"... like having a track play a half step lower or something like that.

nope, just solo voice, only one human voice.

sick.

ok.

lol.

hahaha, wait for the next; this is my populum competition.

-the next will be something never view here-

Nahh... I have decided to write a few songs for "solo voice" with electronic alteration..

I think i will have One movement with JUST voice, and I will submit that.

cool ^^

Is editing that single solo voice to create something new allowed? Like say, making a home-made choir out of clips of my voice?

dont post ideas, save it and use it.

That's like asking if you can enter a 3 part fugue, provided you use the same harpsichord as the sound sample of all three voices. That wouldn't be a solo voice alone.

Nope... John wants JUST a vocal piece... just a solo, vocal piece. lol.

Exactly why I lol'd at the beginning.

Exactly why I lol'd at the beginning.

Why? What's wrong... it's like asking for a "solo clarinet piece".

I don't get the prejudice against this here, being of vocal precedence and all.

I think this competition is good and challenging and may produce some interesting results.

Don't forget to sign me up.

create a song for ONE human voice. this is the rule. what you like and can do to this human voice is your matter and this is the objet of this competition; do what you want with one recourse, and the one who can do the most extraordinary song will win.

I don't sing, so I can't enter here :D
