THE NAME IS CHANGEABLE... I'm not sure if its what I want...

I plan on expanding it and making it longer... I would just like to know what everyone thinks...

LOL... I know that the title and file name are Sad Piano but that was because like I said I didn't know what to name it... and I only had the opening done when I saved it...

hi,

loved the ending with that natural f, beautiful.

in my opinion, which may not mean anything to you, i would not have put the opening chords in the LH so far down, i feel that if you moved them up an octave you would get a more simplisitc and natural feel, i felt that the lower chords took my attention away from the melody, which was nice but a bit repetative.

loved the secong section, the lower chords definatly work there!

i felt it needed to be develped, you could have a great time finding variatons on that!

also, i suggest working on the transition back to the original theme, i was a bit rushed

again i loved the ending.

thanks so much! I will take those suggestions. I wrote this in less than 2 hours, and that explains why some much of it is undeveloped. :)

This feels very much like trying to take your mind off of something that's bothering you: determinedly trying to lighten up, and yet never actually doing so...(is that right?) This is another great piece, I think: vibrant, yet introspective too, at the same time...thanks for sending! :O

I like the change of pace that the second section introduces. Definitely jovial, and in stark contrast to the first section. I think that the recapitulation of the first section could have been a tad smoother though... it is quite sudden and seems somewhat forced. Other than that - great piece!
