Never mind? You never even joined!

can we still upload our pieces to sites such as box.net and then put the link here? I'm having issues with this site right now in that aspect

  • Author

Of course. No need to upload it here, a box.net file will work perfectly!

This is my first competition. Do we send you the works privately or post them on the site as normal?

Where exactly would you like us to post these? I have a .PDF and .MP3 ready to submit anytime. Can I just post them on my page and then link it in this thread?

You may either post the files on the forum using the regular upload options or upload the works to an external file sharing site and paste the link here in this thread.

I'd like you just to post a box.net file here, or a link to a thread if you upload it to the site.

Excellent. Here's the submission.

Op. 19-For Alexander McQueen-Trio for English horn, Violin, and Viola

Here's my entry! comments are welcome :phones:

do you wanta pdf as well?

Hi,

Here's both the project file and the sound file. I'm not sure about time, so just in case I don't have time to polish everything up, count this as my submission.

If you want to see the project file (essentially the score), then download LMMS, a free DAW and load it up there. LMMS is here: http://lmms.sourceforge.net

MP3: http://www.box.net/shared/y5l6l1vy1h

MMPZ: http://www.box.net/shared/ie5xl45kzz

So only three entries? How would you like us to adjudicate these Heckel?

These are the people who entered. I would like to see if I can get their pieces in by March 5th.

Deadline is now 5th of March :)

Jaw: I had each judge giving each competitor up to 20 points:

10 for the overall sound of the piece

5 for orchestration

and 5 for originality and creativity.

cool............*runs to improve piece* :)

I am terribly sorry, I lost count of the days this week and didn't realise today was the 1st!

Here is my entry:

mp3: http://www.box.net/shared/eqkv01aa5f

pdf: http://www.box.net/shared/s781ku334l

Sorry, folks - got too busy to finish my entry - have to back out. I'll post it as a regular piece later.

could cheeselord and jimmyjuicin please submit pdf if possible

benxiwf: sry, LMMS hasn't any export function :(

I've posted the source .mmpz file if that helps (it only loads in LMMS though, so if you want, download LMMS and have a look)

Thats ok, I made due with the sound file.

Holy ****...

Awesome. Thanks. I needed to see this after the day I had. :)

Well, as prize for this months competition your work will be stickied to the Chamber Music page - at the top to be the first work visible on the upload forum itself. This will last for one month - starting today! Congrats!

Grats, cjdarnieder.

I'd love to hear the judges opinions on my work.
