Slow song-start

I have composed the start of this and would like to know what you guys think of it so far, and any improvemnts i could make to it. Does it get boring, do i need to add more to it. I don't what to spoil the mood by adding to much happening at once. Alway hope you like it ( the start of it anyway)

Well, it's a relaxing piece with pleasant harmony. There's little you could 'improve' on what you've done without changing its character. The absence of a bass makes it airy and light - very nice.

What to do next depends on how you want to develop the piece - if you're of minimalist persuasion then nothing, except move on to a different episode at just after the 1 minute mark. Alternatively you could develop a two-part melody based on the theme you've already used. A key change or a few surprise chords would keep someone engaged, then revert to the opening key to recap the melody.
