Piece for chamber orchestra

Featured Replies

Something i've had sitting on me for a little while. Pretty simple stuff, just playing with melodic variations.

I think the midi loses a bit of the translation, who cares

anyways here it is

This is pretty good. I don't know how 24 people listened and didn't care to comment. It's expressive music, surely. But it suffers from a disjunct melody and a lack of harmonic interest. That is to say: This would be a very fine piece if it had a more personal, vulnerable theme. And perhaps a shift of harmony is needed, though that could hurt this piece. It's pretty minimalistic.

The accompaniment is pretty tasty. But, like I have lready said, it isn't as transcendent as it could be, lacking a true theme.

I liked the piano part the best. It went through a nice chord progression. However the other instruments did not follow it.

I don't think I listened to the whole thing; about 3 minutes were empty...

ooooooooooooooohhh you got really close to plagarising with this one, your chords and progression and melody line are really really close to Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven.

and the player cuts off at around 2:11, I couldn't hear the rest of it, but of what I heard I mostly liked.

I think the piece could stand a little more organization, also, I didn't really hear any true melody line, but that's easily fixable

please don't take this the wrong way

A nice melody, don

I like.

Have expression, originality.

Only I ask to you work more on the harmony

(only as a suggestion).

You have talent

Please, continue!
