March 13, 201016 yr Party indeed Most elements are good enough, just some percussions like handclap and crash cymbal sound too dry, need a better inegration with the rest of sounds, you can use reverb on the crash and some channel effect like Stereo Enhancer for the handclap The structure is fine it just needs the main segment more defined, the motif at 0:35 can be without bassline a few bars but later I think it reallly needs the bassline to define harmony 'cos is repetitive that way, I know that style of music is repetitive but with tha bass would be more atractive 1:50 ok here is when I feel all elements most be launched in a very cool and loud mix of sounds, is the main theme presented in its full splendor, this moment is expacted and expected and never comes, I think you could even use the kick a bit louder. other elements like the elec piano at 0:50 (kinda "Speed" theme no ?) and the variation in structure at 1:50 are fine, practically the clear display of the main theme is what's missing. Did it was FL Studio ?
