Sanctuary

I write this piano piece a while ago. It's not just piano, but it carries the melody, and the other instruments (a string and some light drums) could easily be removed and have the song essentially the same.

Yeah, it's not exactly Beethoven, I know.

The link doesn't work.

Computer says "no."

Hm...

try this.

I think this would be much nicer without the drums. They detract from the piece as a whole, in this case, and don't really (at least, in my humble opinion) at much to it.

It's nice, relaxing, except the drums take enough away from it to make it slightly irritating, heh. Also, the drums are exactly the same throughout with no variation. You might want to add some variation to it if you leave them in, since no drummer will play exactly the same thing over and over again.

I can't get a real pianest for this (and I'll show you why later), so I'm not bother going to try to get real drums. :)

That's not what I meant, heh. Whether or not it's actually physically playable, it's still best to make it sound realistic.
