The Ardent Way

No. 5 of my Album "Sway". Vigorous piece, chords motifs plus glissando bass-line, cool effects at 2:47, introducing the Oboe as a pure Synth element doubling the glissandos.

(I posted the entire Album here on 22Jun2009 but each time members see a thread with many tracks they don't comment and sometimes don't even listen, so instead of bringing back the old thread to the new YC, I'll upload the tracks by separate, and give you time to listen and comment.)

I will delete the old thread as soon as all track are uploaded into the Network.

This is great work man! Sorry I didn't get to listening to this sooner, but I like your use of effects and especially some of your transitions. Your manipulation of depth in your recording is solid. I totally felt like I was being pulled into the work from your panning. Impressive!

Thanks for posting it. Hope I don't sound like a complete idiot in my response. I'm not a guru of Electronic music, so I don't know if what I'm saying makes much sense. Hopefully it does.

haha, no Shaun, you don't sound foolish, the sort of music posted here can be in some way that may get a comment like "wow, Superb, awesome" and next day other guy posts "Horrible, I couldn't even listen it all" :laugh:

I'm glad you liked it, and your comment means more to me than other unknown member's ...I'll keep posting the tracks of this album and I guess I leaving the better ones for the end, ... I let you know when I post the last track...

Awesome!! Excellent usage of synths and effects, and like AntiA, kudos on your panning. I'd have no problem saying that this is made by a pro, and in fact, the only thing I'd want is more of it :happy:

Everything is FL Studio, these are the elements:

Sytrus (Main Chords)

Simsynth (Bass)

Sytrus (Dist Bass)

SimSynth (Bass 2)

Kick (wav sample made by me)

SimSynth (High Bells)

Clap, Hat, Snare, (wav samples from FL Library)

Gongwash (wav sample from my own Library)

Oboe (wav sample from my own Library)

English Horn (wav sample from my own Library)

effetcs: Reeverb, Love Philter, Flangus (From FL VST)

Years ago I used to work with 30 - 40 channels, each time I try to use less stuff but use it better, at least for these kind of pieces, for others I still add a bunch of things...
