Withdrawal Symptoms

Just a little post-minimalist experiment I made for fun.

Withdrawal Symptoms

I have to say, I really like the style of this piece. You certainly got that post-minimalist style and I quite like how you've handled it here.

My only question is how did you choose this title for this piece? I don't quite see the relevance of "Withdrawal Symptoms".

To be honest, I actually have no idea myself. Glad you like the piece though =].

I like the idea.

I did not keep my interest though, the buildups are slow (which is fine) but then I would have liked some new or added harmonies. As far as I heard there were no phase shifts as well, a nice minimalistic tool to keep the audience interested.

Can you provide us with a PDF score?

I like this... evry bit is entracing nough to keep the listener interested, except for maybe the quick string pizz. , which stand out a lot. The sudden cutting off of sections is very effective, although I would have liked to hear more buildup in the first section., and maybe a fade-out towards the end, but those are minor things... very enjoyable!
