O Canada, but as a rag.

Here is my old composition on Finale. Tell me what you guys think and how can this improve?

Anyways, I loved this! One thing I would say about the lyrics is the "true patriot love" part. Love should be the entire beat, it shouldn't be divided into lo and ve. Anyways, about the rag. I think you have a very good sense of the rag based on this. In the parts where you hold a note on "land" and "free" I would want to see a faster more complex bass part playing around, but otherwise you have the fast pace, interlocking rhythms and it sounds very much like Scott Joplin! I don't think you need help at all, though next time I'd choose a better instrument than piano - like a sax quartet!
