Nice song, first thing that came in mind when the voice came in 'she said doo doo' lol... anyways, the music stays throughout the song pretty much the same. I don't know how that'd work out if it were recorded, but it sounded a bit... eh what's the right word - monotonic? not quite that but something like that Oh and the ending was kind of abrupt. But on the whole I think it's a pretty good song, with nice lyrics. Theme inspired by the POC music?

It actually is supposed to be a bit monotonic. Contextually the song is sung by bar musicians (and often according to the patrons) and one of them interrupts the final verse by yelling "Sweet mercy, they're at it again! Make it stop!"

Ah thanks for explaining it, I like it (even) better now I know it is supposed to be sung by barmusicians - it does have this nice folksy sound to it. And I get the ending now as well, it didnt convey through the MIDI. Keep it up!
