Hardcore Criminal

Hardcore action/drama beat. Heavy drone and kick donkey boomy percussion. Action theme, suitable for scenes with "dark, illegal activity" ?

Hardcore Criminal

I can imagine the scene now. Nightime: two vans with tinted windows park up at the docks. A load of men with AK-47s get out the back of them. One of them opens the passenger door of the van and some badass gets out and stumps out a ciggie on the floor.

Awesome sounds, man. That really fit the criminal theme well. I especially liked the variety of different (sometimes subtly so) sounds that you used in making that beat, since that is something that I know I can't do well. The only recommendation I would make would be to move the bass around some, since it hung out on the same note for the whole piece. That could help make the piece longer while still keeping the audience's attention; also it could aid in increasing or decreasing tension where desired.

Nice beat, I'd really like to hear some developement. Why don't you put some brass over it like jtay said, maybe slowly swelling up. Or deep strings, or an electric guitar etc. Sounds like a very good start so far!
