It starts playing after the Trumpets or Trombones. I initially thought Violin, but I think I'm wrong. Is it a specific type of string instrument? I just dished out a lot for EWQL's Symphonic orchestra package (Play Edition), and I wanted to re-create this sound.

I tried selecting Violin, but I dont think it sounds the same.

Thx!!

Definitely violin.

Not sure what to tell you about the sound quality. Are you sure it's the sound quality and not the writing? Transcribe this music and see whether or not it sounds close enough with your instruments. I believe it sounds very deep because 1) they're good violins, but also 2) because I believe the violas are playing an ostinato in support of it on the tonic right next to them in register.
