Rejoice in the World

Featured Replies

Rejoice in the World was written for an up coming Christmas concert at my high school. The lyrics and music are written with the themes of Schiller's Ode to Joy in mind. Meant to celebrate how great the world and everyone in it really is and that we should all get along. There is an instrumental accompaniment from the beginning to the end of the first time through the 6/8 section. After that, it's completely a cappella.

Hello! I greatly enjoyed your piece!! It's definitely singable, and very musical! I have a few comments on your score: Please dictate which staves are for which parts- it makes the score easier to read. Also, I noticed that after your "ha ha"s, the lyrics were non existant, even though your program notes indicated there are meaningful lyrics present. You might want to change your score. Other than those few things, I really enjoyed this piece! 9/10

I should've added that I didn't have the lyrics up! I should've deleted those 'has' as well. I thought I had the stave names on there! Aggggh I'ma reupload the score. I should've looked at it more closely. Apologies! And thanks for the comment!
