Very pretty melody. :D Some of the ritards seem kind of excessive and almost random, I'm not sure if that's what you were going for or the MIDI you're using messed with it. Also, the chords in the left hand seem very, very heavy. Almost to the point where it drowns out the melody (which is very nice by the way). Fun short little piece. 8D

thanks! I've tried to make this piece as even as i could. As much as I've tried putting "p" on the left hand and "f" on the right it barely / doesn't do anything. I know what you mean. Also, the pedaling is quite horrible, I need to get better notations software :)

I had figured that was the issue lol Again, nice.

Your notation program is doing some strange things to the midi. Either clean it up, or just leave it without the retards and sustain, because it detracts from us reviewing it for what it really is.

I did not find the rit's or pedal distracting. it is quite expressive, maybe over the top, anyway... I think the harmony could use some work. There is almost the whole time a D in the bass. There is a IV-64 chord as well, and an incidental V-6 near the end (btw, I would not double the 3rd, i.e. put the C# in the bass, when it is also in the melody; It not so pretty... ;) imho )

Two final remarks. When you update a piece, please add it to this thread and not create a new one, this way people should keep the forum clean. Secondly, can you provide a score in PDF, this increases the willingness to review your work dramatically :)
