A Combination of Trance/Techno/Hip hop

I need to work on transitions and introductions. Therefore I decided to put together an instrumental with the sole intent on working on introduction and transitions.This is what I came up with.Any type of feedback would be much appreciated as I am still very new to this Genre.Programs used - FL Studio.Synths - Sytrus/Edirol OrchestraEnjoy

Well the mix of orchestral sounds with electronic sounds good, but I would have added more, Edirol loads by default the entire orchestra, the timbres are not good compared with the heavy libraries but the French Horn sounds very good, you could try. Also in the percussions the "DragontMlt" sample sounds very good, like and small tamtam.

The Development is a bit stuck, perhaps too repetitive, or maybe a modulation to another tonality was needed,

I love the opening of this. Your mixing of samples is good - I would bring the bass up a bit and your percussion as well - the treble on this is kind of high. I love your pacing so far - as well as your use of Pads (it's nice to see someone not be overly Paddy!) I think around 1:10ish you could probably add another layer to move the music forward a little bit - this is really good though how you have it. A little variation in the percussion might do good. I noticed two 'breakdowns' at around 58 and 2:00 - very nice! I would look at maybe changing your percussion slightly around this point - to bring more of the 'breakdown' aspects of stasis home. The outro could be a little more varied a little bit - I like how you layer your two ideas there but, I don't know - perhaps and some variance in the percussion a little bit. All in all, this is a very good mix! You should be proud!

I didn't want to add anything else to it because the goal of this is to be an instrumental for whomever to add lyrics of some sort to it.

Check - Need to add more variation to the percussion section. Was trying to use subtle pads whereas it didn't drown out the orchestra part of the piece, but didn't take away from the orchestral part either. I don't know how to respond to the other advice.
