idea for new software ^_^

I just thought that it could have been a nice idea for developing some new kind of software to make it more interactive, especially for children who are just beginnig to study music notation.

I found a sheet music rollercoaster a cute thing to do :) No?

What du think?

The video in and of itself: yes! Great for commercial purposes and to stir the audience.

As an extra music-notation software feature: maybe, if it doesn't replace the actual purpose of the software. Might make things interesting for kids.

As new software (for kids) on its own: no! I don't see the benefits. You obviously won't learn anything from it other than hearing some classical music. I don't think it would help in notating the music.

I do agree that there could be some Finale or Sibelius - for kids versions to help kids understand music notation a bit better, and to let them play with it just as they would with math and language software. Happy pictures of cartoons and many colours and maybe with an interactivity storyline, of which a rollercoaster (obviously not as sterile as this one) could be part.

Maybe it's time to change music notation? There are such propositions already.
