This is a loop composition I did as part of my university course. It is the first composition I've done with live recorded instruments rather than VST's, and its an experience which has both destroyed me physically and mentally. I don't see a bright glistening future for me in the recording field, so I think ill stick to VST's whenever I can. The instruments used are piano, viola, violin, and bass guitar, with effects added in along the way. The background noise is of a primary school at break time. Hope you like it!

Cool piece.

I think the song could have done without the bass guitar. In my opinion it didn't really blend well with the other instruments and at first gave me the impression of being static. I believe the piano chord's dynamics where the right hand begins could have been a bit more… defined at the beginning. I seemed to feel it needed a bigger sound on that first chord to help it seem a little more dramatic and then the other chords would get more quiet. This may have been your intention, I don't know. Other than those cons listed above, I thought it was pretty good for a live recording. Good job. =)

Thanks for the feedback :) This was done in a bit of a rush (left it very close to the deadline to sort it all out) so there are quite a few things I would change if I had had more time, but to say its my first recorded piece I'm pretty happy!
