Piano Bracket

In Finale, how do you make one of those brackets that designates a note in a staff to be covered by a finger of the other hand?

I think the bracket more often means that you cover multiple notes with one finger. A single line attached between the top note of the bottom staff and the highest note you want played by the left hand in the top staff might do the job. But if you want a bracket, click on the Smart Shape Tool then hold ctrl and click the Custom Line Tool. Click Create... For the End Point Style you want to select Hook for both Start and End. You have to enter a Hook value, probably at least .04. Click OK, double-click your new custom line and test it out.

Doesn't look the way I expected, but that is indeed how you do it. :ermm:
