First attempt at fast music

I may have copied, I hope I didn't...

Well, here it is, please tell me your opinion. Its simply a battle theme for my good friend's video game "Age of Defiance." I wish I could do better, but it seems I cant.

Well, as I said I really enjoy the feel of the piece. I think it will work quite well as background music. However, that high trilling flute sounds a bit more annoying than frightening.

Hmm... Ya, your probably right... In that case, I suppose this belongs in the writers block section... What should I put in the trill's place?

I actually like the trill, and no, this does not belong in writer's block.

Like you stated, it's... fast. I think it's actually quite good in establishing an intense feel.

Well, fast is a very ameturish term I understand, but I don't really know what else to call it being very ameturish myself.

Thanks for the response man. So, you think I should just leave it at this or go on? Given its a game I'm assuming only MIDIs would be allowed, but I could use some real dynamics.

Hmm, I'm not looking at any scores, I'm just gonna give you advice on what I hear.

It seems the tempo is at 150, about? Try and speed it up to 180.

There is often emptyness inbetween the bass staccato notes. Maybe put in an ambient synth effect to fill up background?

I think what would help this piece would be more instruments in general. The texture is often very thin, and could do with a few more harmonies, some crunchy chords every now and then.

It overall sounds decent, and yes, it could use some work. There is definitely space for improvement, with a bit of work you can make this sound even better!
