January 25, 201115 yr I quite liked the melody; it was one I had never heard beforehand. I heard and saw this as a pretty straightforward orchestration - there wasn't anything too complex or out of the ordinary, except for the oddly high bassoon line at mss.26 - 30. My main suggestion for this work would be to switch the melody and accompaniement patterns around a bit - I'm pretty sure the bass and cello player will have a hard time not getting bored :whistling: . Otherwise, everything seems good - are you thinking of getting this played by anyone?
January 25, 201115 yr Author ok, i'll try to switch the melody and accompaniement patterns, although i have tried to do the melody in trombones and the sound was bad, i generally do have problem with portamento sound patches for brass instruments. but i will try now to do melody in cello, and i'am thinking to employ piccolo at the end. thanks.
