Ricercare sul do

Featured Replies

This my piece for every keyboard intruments (organ, piano, harpischord, spinetta... harmonium...) This piece commemorates the Renaissance style but with a contemporary visionOf tihs I'm composed also a other version: from violas da gamba consort... for clarinet trio

Ricercare sul do

Pretty nice. I listened to it with piano and harpsichord sounds, which is better for this piece than the midi (harmonium?) sound. However, I think the 'adagio meditativo' part has not enough notes. Harpsichords are always arpeggio-ing and trilling because their sound doesn't carry very long. I would have liked to see that in the second part of your piece as well. Also because the first part is a bit slow already (for harpsichord).

For other instruments this is fine :)

Thanks for your comment, In the second part the player can ornament the melody at will as in Baroque performance practice, often the trills and other embellishments were made extemporaneously

Ah ok I totally agree :)
