Ricercare sul do- clarinet trio arrangement live perfomance

This arrangement for clarinet trio for my "ricercare sul do" in origin for keyboard intruments, the perfomance of piece is of my friend Len Anderson to USA.I think the sound of clarinets was suitable of this stile.

Great piece in the ancient style mood,nice french style bits too,it sounds really good played live on clarinets especially the adagio,this recording does a lot more justice to your piece than the other one.

Very nice. I like the modern take on a baroque form; Bach counterpoint but with some harmonies that could only have come from the 20th century. I also like that it ended in a different mood to the start. If anything I think this could be made longer by extending the slow section. Also consider giving the clarinets some different articulations in the fugal material; things that the keyboard cannot do.

Nice work! It's not often that you see a piece for three clarinets, and I think the timbre works well with the Baroque style. The score could use more dynamics and I wish the piece were longer, but the contrasting sections are a nice touch.

The clarinet tembre is different from a modern clarinet right? Is it a different clarinet or mouthpiece/reed, or is it the way of playing that is different? (or am I just dreaming things?).

Only thing I have to comment on was the unison written Fsharp in m36 (sounding E natural). Im nitpicking a bit here.

The way of playing is different, because my friend clarinetist is a jazz clarinetist/sassofonist, and the sound is different from the typical classical clarinet way.
