Beautiful piece. I really like how you use elements from the original piece and mix them with your own ideas and melodies. Do you have a score? And which program did you write this in?

I used those rather unusual instruments (glass harmonica, kajar, ocarina) to create a dreamy atmosphere.

I originally wrote the piece on my classical guitar, later I made this Débussy-inspired orchestral arrangement with Apple Logic and the East West Quantum Leap Orchestra.

That's a lovely piece. Also you chose instruments I don't know (read: have never approached) so it was interesting. I really enjoyed this, thanks for sharing, the only negative thing I found was that the atmosphere was a little bit overwhelming at times.

Questions: why did you decide to work "from" Satie? Why an accent on "Hômmage"? I speak French and it was the first time I saw one there, I googled it and found a few examples but I'm still not sure that's correct (I might also be wrong).

What do you mean by overwhelming?

To be honest I just came up with the melody in the beginning while playing the guitar. I tried to orchestrate it and the result was a bit similar to the "Gymnopédie no. 1".

I think I've seen both, but the dictionary says thet Hommage (without accent) is the correct form. Thank you for pointing this out! :)
