External Midis for Finale PrintMusic 2011

Featured Replies

Hello, I've been asked a couple times to get better quality midis, but I don't want to get a whole different program if I don't have to. I haven't found much information on if my version of Finale (Finale PrintMusic 2011) can change the default midis. If it can, I would also like to know to chang it, and where I could get a decent midi library to switch it with. Thanks in advance if anybody can help me with this.

It sounds like you're looking for some decent VST/AU instruments or sample libraries, which you can definitely use in Finale PrintMusic. Does it come with something like the ARIA Player? That would be one way to change your sounds. Or check out the midi options in the program. Otherwise I'm not sure specifically how you do it.

To ask about some good sample libraries I would create a post in the Software and Hardware forum or just browse that forum since the question has been asked before. If you create a new post you might want to add what your budget is since sample libraries can get very expensive.
