Well the D-E-F in bass suggest the spy ambient yes, the saxes as intro may work but later more elaborated parts are expected for them, and I think you need some pads, strings or something, more background.

As a secondary segment you can copy all and move it to Bb minor or F minor, will sound cool, then return to Dm or end in like that.
