One of several movements of a french suite I improvised recently.

Great improvisation, Derek. There are enough ideas for subjects, countersubjects, developments etc. passing through the piece.

Did you think of organizing them contrapuntally maybe?

Thanks for the comment, el-russo. I am becoming more interested in imitation and counterpoint in greater doses than what you hear in these free improvisations. One of my long-term goals is fluent improvisation of fugues---though I may explore writing them out, also. Hopefully before long I'll have more to share.

An improvisation in the Baroque style! I don't see (hear, rather) most of those often. I think you have a good bit of skill in the matter!
