well the first part clearly suggests a breathing, sleeping breathing, but I think was a bit long, the awakening was expected early, well, it did awake, then the voices make this quite strange mostly if you think is a demon the ones is awakening.

Not too bad.. I would personally begin calm and than building up to really strong. But that's me..

Well, personally I enjoyed this. It's a nice blend of alternative electronic, ambient, and it also has an Industrial feeling to it. It's not to hurtful to the ears, either. If you haven't already, check out some of Akira Yamaoka's Silent Hill tracks, they're right up your alley. You have a good dark ambient structure, and this one seems to stand out. Bravo, bravo!

i really can't say when a piece or a part of it is too long, it either feels good or no. i used to do an experiment by trying to prove that no piece, actually, is too long or too short by cutting up webern's 5 pieces for strings, which were hailed as very exact and having every note right up where it should be. well, you get different music, that's all.

when i used to send these piece to labels (that were industrial, dark ambient or whatever the genres they call themselves) i would get a reply - 'this is very good, you know what you're are doing, but it's not the style we look for'. i guess, the style is very vague thing. to me it's just music, whenever it becomes a style, you can do history books and money with it.

It's strange that you should mention that. I personally find while composing styles don't exist; they'll blend together if required, but like you said, it's the music. However, when reviewing, we tend to fall back on describing something as a certain style, since it's much easier to define music in that sense. You're welcome :)
