April 16, 201115 yr Well I don't know much of HipHop, but a guy talking is the main element of the style, you say this will be part of a new song, I suppose the voice is the one will be added, the background seems to be appropriated for hiphop, I just think this won't be true hiphop until you add "the guy talking" :happy:
April 20, 201115 yr Interesting sounds you have there. If you're going for a hip hop feel, I would soften the violins(?) a bit; they can be a bit fatiguing to the ear. The drum reverb seems distant; try lowering the room size and perhaps dropping the wet a bit. The choir blends nicely at the start. Other than those small things, good job, I could imagine this as backing for a hip hop track; very urban classical.
April 20, 201115 yr Author I tried to mix a hiphop sound from a different perspective. You are right in the violins and there should be more variations in the beat but that is one thing I am not really good in :).
