This Fanfare is a triumphant work for trumpet, trombone, timpani and percussion. It features the use of quintal harmony, accompanied by a busy timpani line. Sections of mixed meter, stacked chords, and homophonic texture switching to monophonic texture establish excitement throughout the work.This was my first work for this instrumentation written and it was written in Spring of 2010.PS. The timpani rolls are terrible in this MP3, so I'd suggest keeping your volume down. :S Sorry!
