Bass Quartet song no. 2

A Bass Quartet song in G major. Simple complete three part song form.

Neat piece! Basses are cool instruments. :) I think the simple, accessible form works really well and makes for a very pleasant listening experience. The melody is really nice, and I enjoyed the turns in the harmony where major chords connect to minor chords and vice versa. Initially the opening accompaniment sounded like it might be too heavy to clearly perceive the pitches, but perhaps that is the unique characteristic of the ensemble.

Thanks smallercomma You're right, it might be to low but sometimes finale doesn't do the music justice on playback. If I record the parts with a live string bass, the "color" isn't too dark.....well it's dark as hell but perceptible. Well, thanks for the comment. I appreciate it.
