The two kings were as close as brothers growing up,yet something made one king betray the other king, and hatred was formed.In other words, the battle between the 'good' king and the 'evil' king.So, this song takes place after the epic battle that they just had.The evil king has fallen and the good king is crushed and wonders how it all turned out like this, but eventually accepts the fact that he had ended the life of his best friend and sees the countless amount of bodies from his army as dawn approaches. June 10, 201115 yr Funny thing about music, it creates different story lines for different people. I heard this and thought of someone yearning to return to heaven. Stuck in a world of darkness just wanting out....or is it just their dark mind. Anyway, beautiful work there chief. I'd get rid of the snare though or introduce it again.
