Introduction and a question

I'm not exactly new here, I've had an account for a while but I haven't really been using this forum until now. My name is Josh Tsai and I am an 18-year old musician. This fall I will be attending Brigham Young University, Provo to study music and try to double in information technology. I'm Taiwanese born in the US and I love everything about art music, so I hope I can get to you know all sooner or later and gain/share some knowledge of my own!

I also am wondering what is the sort of age group here? I know this forum is called "Young Composers" but how young/old exactly are people here?

The youngest that I know is the age of 12 here...there may be even younger people around

The oldest are, say, 40-ish? - and there used to be a member who was well into his 60s.

So I'm guessing the older ones administrate/moderate here? I mean I don't know any forums used by people so young, usually college-age people so it will be interesting.

I would say you have your few young and old people here. However, I think the average age is something like 22-28 or something like that. There do seem to be a few younger people that are pretty active though. Also, the older people do the moderating rule is not completely true. There are varied ages in the moderating staff as well. Young just means amateur in our site name. Although there are several people who do some things professionally anyways. Anyone is welcome.
