My Showtune!

This is a song I've been working on every now and then, it's been an ongoing thing, as I can never really decide what I want to do. I always put something in, then delete it. Everything here is what has made the cut in my mind, hahaha.

It is definitely a work in progress. Any suggestions are welcome and appreciated.

Without being very technical at all, I like it. It makes me wonder about the subject matter of the tune. It creates a very good end of act mood; a sort of emerging feeling to it, looking forward feeling. Your ending, however, is a little disappointing. It actually sounds like it was cut off on accident. Was that what happened, or is it intentional?

Ah, yes. It's not done. Again, I am stuck without an idea of where to go. Hopefully something will come to me soon so I can keep writing. Yeah, it's not intentional, I'm just not finished yet.

Nice atmosphere and it's very interesting how the mood changes throughout the composition.

Good use of midi instruments, especially the drums and the strings are used very well and add a lot of depth to the piece.

Nice variety of themes.

Can't wait to hear the finished piece.

Very nice, there are some specific things I especially like about the song; e.g. the flute melody after the pace picks up.

I think it's a very good song. The uplifting theme beginning at 0:45 is very catchy. There seems to be a lot of things happening in the background that keeps things interesting to listen to, nice harmony. The contrast is pretty well done too.

I think the song is quite complete, but an additional instrumental part with repeat of the theme again will definitely be a plus.

I think everyone is anticipating for your complete version, and I'm really curious to know how it turns out in the end.
