December 26, 201213 yr Hi, people. I'm new here. Obviously. Anyways. I've been composing off and on since I was pretty young, but it wasn't until I was about 11 that my parents were able to afford piano lessons for me. So I kind of expected that my composing skills would just magically take off while I learned to play the piano, but that wasn't the case. And I don't really feel that I've had a chance to grow, since I never had the guts to show my music to more than a few people (or the motivation to finish more than half the pieces I start). But I figure if I really do want to become a better composer, the first thing I've gotta do is come out of hiding. So hello, folks, nice to meet you. See you around the forums. :)
