How do you create a midi file from a finale file? I have finale 2005 and I can create compressed MP3s. But, as they are no longer allowed on the site, I don't know how to create a midi file or other such files that aren't so large. Can anyone help me, I'd love to post some compositions but don't seem to have any luck uploading files.

    That's exactly how you do it in Finale. In Save As, pull down the Save As Type menu and save as MID. A dialogue box will follow - usually you won't change anything (I never do)...just Click OK!
