May 30, 20169 yr Well, I know the sound quality is sad enough to cry :'v but what do u think? :v Edited May 30, 20169 yr by Victor Macduff
May 30, 20169 yr Two questions... 1) Do you have a score? At a first listen, the music seems to be pretty good, well-structured in a very classical way, although with somewhat puzzling dissonances added here and there, especially towards the end. But the sound quality does a disservice to the work itself, especially during the sections featuring the bass tremolos, which seem to drown everything else. We could have a better idea of what the piece is supposed to be if we could read it while listening. 2) Is this related in any way to our Summer Competition? You've written a piece based on Shakespeare, so it might qualify if you wanted it to - but I didn't see you as an entrant, so it's your call. You can find the guidelines right here.
May 31, 20169 yr Yes, the result would be much better with other virtual instruments. It reminds me the opera Macbeth (Verdi)....
May 31, 20169 yr Author Thank for your answers guys :D Austenite, I'm still working on the score (mostly because im not used to write for brass instruments yet, so thats mostly why some dissonanses can be heard), about the summer competition, i didn't knew about it, its for a major work im working in, but it would be interesting to participate. Thanks for the info cx I tried to use a better set of instruments but i dont really know how to export it to MP3. I have not heard Verdi's Macbeth but i will indeed, this work is not part of an opera though, but i will take that as a complement I guess. :D
