November 2, 20169 yr Hello Everyone~ Feel free to listen to this arrangement I made of a piece originally written in 1983 for the film Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence, featuring the late David Bowie. Edited November 2, 20169 yr by Mauro
November 2, 20169 yr It's nice sounding, definitely as an accompanying track. Maybe too much of the same atmosphere in the first part. The voices at the end of it were a nice touch, though. Overall, the timbres change, but perhaps not enough, or to a difference-making level. In the second part, the excessive use of the chord progression was the downside of it. Lots of melody play, but falls into the same metaphoric trap of the other one by utilizing too much "repeated time". The ending was nice but sounded like you didn't know how to end the piece overall. Without all the nitty-gritty theory stuff, it sounds good, though.
