November 15, 20169 yr I like this. Not one of my preferred genres I admit but this is good I think. I always compare stuff to other forms of entertainment or literature to best describe my thoughts on something and this sounds like something out of a vampire movie. For my critique: I was actually waiting for more high points where it explodes into a world of ear catching bliss but perhaps I've been spoiled by orchestral music. For some reason I can't play the track past 1:00 so if there is a high point as I described I apologize, my connection is weak at the moment.
November 15, 20169 yr Author Thank you for listening LostSamurai. I apologise as I'm not very good at uploading content. I just uploaded a soundcloud link which should work better. bleum.

November 15, 20169 yr Interesting work. I hear a really great opportunity to mix different tonalities in the piece. B major and B minor over an undefined bass would be cool. After the first bit, the rest was perhaps a bit too repetitive for me; I know there are bits of change, but it doesn't contribute to the overall tone of the piece. I agree with Lost in his assertion that the highs should have been higher and the lows lower. Dynamic contrasts are important.
November 15, 20169 yr Author I appreciate your feedback, thank you for listening. Monarcheon, I would really like to try out yours and LostSamurai's suggestions. - Do you mean perhaps creating a B Minor and B Major bassline for the piece? - Major highs and lows: I can see an opportunity for a low somewhere in the middle where i could place a 1 bar break and highs perhaps making the ending a bit more chaotic. Is this roughly what you mean? bleum//

More like switching between two to in the melody (homophony). 31 minutes ago, Bleum said: I can see an opportunity for a low somewhere in the middle where i could place a 1 bar break and highs perhaps making the ending a bit more chaotic. Maybe. I more meant that the dynamic contrast throughout the entire piece/song is a bit lacking.
