Imago (for concert band)

Featured Replies

Hi, this is my first piece of hopefully many I'll be posting here! It's called "Imago" because an imago is the adult stage of an insect and the song reminds me of bugs in an enchanted forest with fairies and stuff. I don't really have a lot of knowledge about music theory, but please don't hold back on the feedback. All comments are welcome! Thanks!

Some of your suspensions already have the resolved tone in them? Hard to go anywhere with that.
Is the score not available?
I don't think you need to be quite so programmatic with your writing. I'd like to see this move away from the tonic key a little more. Especially since "growth" is such a big thematic factor in this piece. Expand the range a bit!
It's very sweet, and sounds playable but, without the score I can't be sure.

this was peaceful and i could imagine the little insects around me in the forest;;

this could be a nice background song for a world map in an RPG :)

would like to listen to more from you.

ps; soundcloud is easier to critique because there are no timestamps here ( at least for me ) .

beats,

bleum.
