October 8, 20178 yr This piece comprises of quick snippets of ideas, which I tried to mend together into a scene. 0:00 - 1:22 Introduction of Town (surrounded by lush forestry) 1:22 - 2:10 Introduction of Hero 2:10 - 2:26 Pans overhead - flying deeper into a dark forest... [Transition] 2:26 - 3:05 Army of Enemies approaching 3:05 - 3:44 Shrouded in darkness, the Main Antagonist speaks to his comrades. 3:44 - 4:24 Reveal of Antagonist, the Hero's brother! 4:24 - Panning overhead farther and farther away, overlooking the entire world Tell me what you think. I'm looking to improve as much as possible.
October 8, 20178 yr During the introduction, I thought it had a very nice melody; amazing percussion in this part. Introduction of the hero, great use of the strings and brass style instruments! Between 2:10 - 2:26 led into the 'approaching army' bit VERY nicely! Approaching Enemies, great way to bring up the tension a bit. I must say, I don't often come across a piece that blends different ideas together well in a good cohesive way, and in this you did a fantastic job. Although I must say the ending was abrupt. 9/10
October 8, 20178 yr Author Thanks for the nice comments! I suppose it's still a work in progress. I scrapped the Approaching Enemies theme and went with a more somber melody, I'll post an edit later.
