ok, are there any tips I can get for transfering into a new idea within the piece? without making it sound awkward. I'm having writer's block, I'm getting nearer to finishing this piece and am wanting to get near the end by changing up the beat and tempo and such, it's somewhat skippy, as in the beat, but the rest is dream like, and I just want to know what ideas there are for going from dream-like to a more upbeat verse. I'm thinking about taking time off of the piece, and working on another, to relieve myself of stress upon it and maybe something will come like the rest of the piece has. but yeah
