It kind of reminds me of the opening to Bach's Christmas Oratorio, which, by the way, I think is an awesome piece. It sounds like you are planning out a similar type of piece. Also, you have a great understanding of counterpoint and polyphonic writing. I am speaking very sincerely about this. This is a good start, and I would love to hear more.
