Piano Concerto Op.54 No.1 (A minor)

Thanks for give your opinion

given the title ("for Younger Pianist") i think you achieved a very fine result. very wise and interesting approach to the challenge of composing a serious concert for a young player, creating for the orchestra a strong and concise structure that contrasts effectively and nicely against the comparatively simple material given to the soloist, supporting and forwarding the solo part without overshadowing it. loved the way you led the harmony along the whole piece and specially the rhythmic richness of the last movement. very very enjoyable piece!

How I can review your music?

I like review music posted in scorch way, have you some

in that way?

Please give me one title that I can work on it, reviewing and

give you some comments.

Guilherme

I really enjoyed this piece too. I think it is a very fine work, one that a pianist can learn a lot from. I especially liked the first movement, although the 3rd movement i also found very enjoyable (i heard some influences of Frank Bridge, and some jazz!)

If you ever have it performed please post a live recording :)

Thanks for your comments.

This is what I consider "the more old brother" of the opus 54 no.1

Is my concerto opus 86 no.2 in G minor.

I saw your Piano Concerto also, very fine piece of music.

Respectfully,
