WIP for clarinet and piano

The first theme is loosely based on the second movement of Beethoven's pathetique sonata. Score is in concert pitch. Let me know what you think, this is very much a WIP, only been working on it for a few weeks. The basic form is going to be ABACA-coda, I have written ABA so far. I plan on the C theme being a sarabande in C minor.

Obviously, the grace notes in the introduction aren't meant to be played like the software interprets it.

This is nicely done. I am not all that familiar with Beethoven's works, although I can hear similarities in style, of course. Clearly you have put a great deal of time into this, as well as to the performance markings and appears to have paid off.

Whilst I am no authority on this style of composition, I would personally have sought to communicate more between the accompaniment and the solo clarinet. The accompaniment I think could have a more pronounced role, besides supporting the clarinet particularly during the development section. The harmony sounds like it is spot on, therefore it provided you have the tonal foundation it would not take much adapting.

Thank you for your compliments. I like your advice, but I'm not really sure how I could accomplish that. Do you have any specific ideas? Either way, I will go through the literature and look for that sort of idea. Thanks again!!
