Not sure where the best place to ask this is, but any of you perform solo or in a band?

I have a acoustic guitar gig coming up and I'm in need of a new mixer and PA. I've done a bit of research and talked to my friends in the biz, but thought I'd see if any of you guys have some thoughts on getting some new gear, or what you may use in your own performances.
