I'm posting all my themes/melodies so far and looking for opinions on which you prefer and why, or changes you'd make (Ideally not very technical as I have 0 knowledge of music theory, despite having stumbled my way onto this forum). They are short, but for some reason FL Studio made some of them longer than the actual melody (And lower quality)

Also, I can count the number of classical pieces I know off the top of my head, so if any of these sound like something already existing that'd be good to know

As a final note, I've no idea how to read or write sheet so ignore the Music Jotter score, I have no idea what I put there

Number 0 was quite jarring to me with the constant overbearing waltz-like accompaniment.  I really liked 2 as I found it quite soothing.  I didn't really feel like 7 was a variation of the mentioned nursery rhyme.  It just seemed like a melody made of repeating quarter notes with an alberti bass accompaniment.

On second listen I really enjoyed number 1 as it sounded quite epic and stately.  Wish some of these were longer and more extended.  My only advice is to avoid making your sound files too loud or imbalanced dynamically - like in number 0 which sounded like you had the accompaniment and the melody at the same dynamic level.  Paired with the pedestrian style of accompaniment in number 0 it sounded kinda amateurish.  If you had brought the left hand accompaniment down by one or two dynamic levels (like if the melody were forte then the accompaniment could be at mezzoforte or mezzopiano) it would have sounded like a soothing waltz.

Thanks for sharing!  Do you consider yourself a composer of only piano music?  I hope we get to hear some more finished or developed pieces from you!

Thanks for the response, bro. I also find 0 overbearing on my ears after giving it some time off

I will certainly extend the ones I like eventually, I have yet to figure out how to develop

I think piano is versatille and relatively easy to pick up, and I actually own one, hence why my ideas are for piano only, but I would definitely try others in the future
