ilias Gomatos - Over The Abyss (piano / contrabass)

Quite lovely and sentimental - the "waltz" reminds me very much of works by Prokofiev (Cinderella) and Shostakovich (waltz no. 2).

I really liked the bass ... rather than a cello with its extra warmth and depth.

Nice piece. I like the change to jazzy in the second part, as a contrast.

very beautiful! I wish it was only the first movement of a bigger composition.. also, nicely played.
